Has anyone noticed how the facilities are landscaped and organized? They have been working on this for sometime while we were distracted with Russia. This may also be a distraction. What isnt with this twit?

I’m a good Catholic and follow my faith, however, why can’t these other countries get their act together so these poor people aren’t placed in these situations to flee their countries and have the responsibility fall on the USA. Why is the USA always the bad guy!

Perhaps I should leave religion out of it! I’m a caring person, however, I would say these other countries do not care at all about their own people! That’s the really sad thing here!!!

Maybe they shoukd. But how does that change compassion we show for others. It's not their fault they have a crappy government just as it's not my children's fault for Trump. They were born into circumstance. Let's be compassionate for their stake in life.

This does not mean we let people in with open arms but we there is a right and wrong way to handle those asking for help. This is the wrong way.

What happens to these children? Are they put in our (US) foster care system? Are they given citizenship? Or do they become future dreamers doomed to go through yet another traumatic experience by a possible deportation always hanging over their heads?

This is so true. I think most people would prefer to be in their birth country if they could. No one would choose such difficult, dangerous journeys if they weren’t desperate.
