Referring to them as immigrants is disingenuous. They came here illegally. This isn't happening to people who came here lawfully through proper channels. While I feel bad for the kids, it's by their parents own doing. Spend the money to help the countries they are coming from.

There’s the law.. then there’s How you apply the law. I am all for immigrants (such as myself) doing the right thing and going through the proper channels - but against blatant inhumanity. These are children..

Exactly. The punishment should fit the crime. But this punishment is evil - far worse than the crime itself.

Many of these people are asylum seekers. You have to present yourself at the border to request asylum. They are NOT illegal. They are doing exactly what they are supposed to, by our law and by international law. And we're still taking their children.

It is tragic that there are veterans and senior citizens with little to no resources. Why does the US have to deploy resources towards other's countries underserved? The social construct of the media is irresponsible.

If indeed this is a tragedy in your country and you feel strongly enough to speak out, you should do something about it, for instance maybe start a fundraiser for the veterans and senior citizens? How about that?

If only White People had been this effective at the voting booth then these children and families wouldn’t be dealing with this right now

The GOP better take note.. If the people are so pissed that they are raising money that quickly to help foreigners, how much money and energy do you think anti-GOP candidates' campaigns are raising..??
