        The best policy is voluntary temperance - legalize marijuana and other drugs, but discourage all use, especially the most harmful drugs, alcohol and cigarettes. As Gandhi wrote, "Those who want to be sinners have certainly a right to it." End the drug war and the New Jim Crow.

        Good. My friend couldn't afford meds for his disease. The County jailed him for self-medicating with weed. He couldn't afford bail. They didn't give him meds > he wasn't taking them when jailed. They didn't hospitalize him. His disease progressed. He died 3 mos after making bail.
