She's missing the point. Due process as it has been favors the patriarchy. That's why there are so many relating to #metoo

Are you suggesting doing away with the due process, and take any accusation at its face value?

No. I didn't say that. I said due process as it has been. You should infer change from what I wrote. But you're a man and this dialogue is triggering for you.

Yes, you did. Let’s be honest. And ppl don’t feel uncomfortable with your viewpoints because of their gender identity; they think less of your viewpoints because what you’re arguing here is bullshit.

Cool so let’s go back to the era when no one believes women. Because it is notoriously impossible to prove rape in a court of law, which is the entire reason for this movement. Word of advice to you worried men: don’t assault women and you won’t suffer consequences. #metoo

From what I’ve seen, attackers are not being tossed out for 1 allegation - it’s several credible allegations. And they are welcome to continue defending themselves in the court of public opinion and court of law - but due to power dynamics & burden of proof, courts fail survivors

In today’s society, any allegation of a sexual nature carries lifelong consequences with or without prosecution. That’s an unfortunate fact.

No, they don't. My abuser was accused, and his wife, the police, and social services, all decided it wasn't true and did not DNA swabs or anything made it go away. Well his wife busted him 2 years ago doing it to another girl. He was accused over 20 yrs b4

Many people have been poorly treated. Some were murdered & the murderer got away cos they can’t find any evidence. Life is unfair but we can’t use our personal experience to judge an entire gender, race, ethnicity or religion. That is prejudice

Absolutely. You are right. But we don't accept that as ok. Im saying the same thing for this crime. I simply shared my perspective with you as a woman. And I invite you to start asking women about there experience and see if it's different.

Turns out there are a ton of dues processes. They made a whole department for it called human resources. And then there are a complete set of due process in the law. So far no rapists have been sent to death, and not many convicted of rape. Some get elected.

You’re taking the “death penalty” part too literally. It’s meant figuratively. A man just lost his show because of one singular half baked accusation from a scorned ex. That’s the death penalty she speaks of.

Im pretty sure most people get that. Still, how is losing a job a higher cost than having to feel like a sexual object in the work place ex or not?
