this is clearly racist. as a black person I feel responsibility to point out the double standard before this goes too far. I don’t want to be part of this gradual normalisation of racism against white people.

maybe racism wasn’t even the right word. my problem is with creating racial division at all. I feel we all gotta learn to respect and see people without colours and articles like this peddle division because they know it sells. it pushes people apart not brings them together

100% right. those white people who are close to being racist get pushed over the edge by articles like this, & certain others use it to push their agendas. if integration & a greater world is the intention, how would articles like this ever help create that?

Whats wrong with being any race? We all deal with our own problems that are not race induced. Stop with the race bait. Thanks!
-
"Race bait" is a racist term that was often used by segregationists. The fact it was reintroduced when
@BarackObama was in office, and is now the mantra for those opposed to U.S. racial truths/#Trumpkins is VERY telling. Racism IS a thing. -
Sure racism is a thing but I am not a racist just because my skin is white. Race baiting is also the unfair use of statements about race to push something and influence people, if you think that is racist get over yourself. The only one here pushing for segregation is you.

When rhetoric treats white culture as open source and highlights all else as non-exotic and closed to cultural appropriation we reify the idea that white is the norm. Separate and acknowledge all individually or mix them all up. Can't have it both ways.
-
To clarify: I prefer the latter to the former.

You know a house that went for 30 k in the 90s now sells for 300k and you have companies that are unwilling to pay a livable wage and look for someone desperate to exploit so they don’t have to pay a livable wage . The problem is the employers not the Latinos .

i think that was the kid's point.
