In @NYTOpinion Tamara Winfrey-Harris writes, "Many of the arguments about Trump’s appeal to Midwesterners make sense only if you pretend black people don’t exist in the middle of the country"https://nyti.ms/2t5RlkZ

I agree, we also need to quit pretending #red people don't exist in the middle of the country! https://twitter.com/TrumpsKiss/status/929400607630340097?s=19 …pic.twitter.com/l2Angw2XTL

The Midwest is roughly 5% black and virtually all of those people vote Democrat. Why should Trump try to appeal to black Midwesterners?

I’m afraid not. He told Abe at G7 he would “send 25 million Mexicans to Japan”. You’re in his special group and extrapolate your feelings of security to demographics he considers less than. Understand it’s different when you’re not of the chosen people.

He told Abe that if he sent 25 million Mexicans to Japan, Abe would be out of a job. He's right, people naturally resist foreigners coming into a country and making it their own. Except, of course, in America where certain people cheer on invasion because the TV told them to.

Don’t project your xenophobia. Not only was what he said not “right”, it is ubiquitously condemned. You are just as much a “foreigner” as anyone. Excise from your mind the concept that you *naturally* belong here-it’s by chance-just like anyone else.

Actually, I'm not a foreigner in America because my people created the country and have lived in it for hundreds of years.

Chinese labor created the infrastructure to the west, stolen chattel labor created it south; as for the country itself being created, 500 First Nations did that. Mexico built and first owned Texas and California. You need to relinquish your idea of primacy-this is a shared land.

Only a racist pos would know have black fertility rates handy. Of course! Racists are so obsessed with black people it’s almost hilarious. Like really?? 🤣🤣🤣

        1) I don’t know if those stats are true 2) It is way more likely that your racist instincts compelled you to look up that specific as opposed to you coming across them by happenstance 3) why would you need to be “informed” on the fertility rates of both black and white people?pic.twitter.com/LwdZfHbzBA

Find it mind boggling how all this effort is black orientated but what about the Indigenous peoples where is the righteous indignation when it comes to their treatment, their lands still being stolen & national parks being over run by cowards with high powered rifles ?

Yes, where is it? Are you saying Indigenous people are helpless to fight for themselves?
