Did American Greetings ask a black person before they made that print run?
-
-
-
the person that come up with it was most likely black
-
Think so? Think they knew it was the only card with black people on it?
-
Maybe they didn't even notice because they are not completly focused on skin color?
-
The person offended noticed because it was the only one close to skin tones of her & husband. Made it pop out to her.

(black) Women say “baby daddy” all zee time. It’s funny. Why is everything an ISSUE
-
The complaint wasn't so much about this card with this text existing, but that this was the ONLY Father's Day card depicting black people, so that lack of options, thus lack of diversity, is the problem. I don't see a big problem with that phrase though.

What they should have done is put the image of the original American "baby daddy" on the front.

The card simply tells the tale. Over 70% of children in the black community are born out of wedlock. Fix that instead of demonizing a card that simply reflects the times and today’s truth.
-
What does being “born out of wedlock” have to do with anything?

I love how everyone is more upset at the card than the fact it was made because there’s an audience.

Seriously? How on earth does a card-vetting process work, if there is one.

It's actually an OK card. Embrace it.

Why would you say that

There is nothing wrong with the term Babby Daddy. Many people find it endearing. Therefor, it’s actually an OK card. Chill out. People like it.
