What happened to innocent until proven guilty? If he did it then good move, if not then his rep is ruined for nothing.

The damage is already done at that point. This is ridiculous.

The damage to his reputation came from the allegations, not networks suspending his shows. The idea that suspending an employee pending investigation is what harms his reputation when the allegations against him are already very public is silly.

Obviously. It’s sad that something that is in the “he said, she said” stage gets so much press when nothing has been proven.

I don't know about this one. I read her thing and it sounds like a bad relationship but it read like most of the nasty break ups I have seem. Not condoning but this feels like closure on her side-for him its a revenge piece of a pissed off ex. She plays the passive agressive note

Thanks for the likes & comments from women. I was worried about backlash from #Metoo I feel for her but this is what I gathered from her post. I have been & continue to be an advocate for women's equality (Since 70's). This is not fair to Chris & his life's work. Not MeToo worthy

I read her story. He was awful, used her weakness to be emotionally abusive. But I didn’t read anything that was sexual assault. She submitted to keep from losing him & called it assault later. This is a disservice to any woman who’s been violently assaulted.

And that's if you believe everything she said 100%. Two people break up badly, and each calls the other awful...and the truth is probably in the middle somewhere. Life.

Yes. Again, it’s not a trial. If he wants to sue for defamation against her or wrongful termination against AMC, he can have at it.

Read her essay, she’s a bitter ex that has rewritten herself as a victim when in reality she cheated and then was ostracized by his social circle. Does it sound like he was a shitty boyfriend and the relationship toxic? Yes. Does that make it abusive? No.

If you choose to have sex because your afraid the guy will leave you that is your choice that is not abuse! And that is a slap in the face to anyone that has suffered real abuse. Shame on Amc.
