A group of Afghan migrants survived months of beatings from border guards and run-ins with with bandits, to get to Turkey, on their way to Europe. There, they were deported, sent home on a flight that took only 5 hours.https://nyti.ms/2t3ixkx

Turkey hosts more than 4.000.000 immigrants just from Syria; let alone the ones from other countries. Us could host them if they want and I am sure #turkishairlines will carry them for free.

under Trump this will only get worse because he wants to cut corners on everything and has no ability to think about how to keep the wider world safe and not spiraling.

I just think that people speak out of emotion and not factual. There is so much fake news that I don't trust the media to tell us the facts. The liberal press is so shallow and people are so gullible to believe it.

Well there's your first mistake. You've been relying on the news your entire life, I'm guessing, until Trump the charismatic sociopath convinces you differently. Trump is the fake part -the rest of the Media is as it always has been. It's the truth you can't accept

We should start doing this in America. The flight to Mexico city is much shorter.

Google, Australia's 'Stop The Boats' policy. We had 2-3 boats coming from Indonesia (a Muslim country) each day. All illegals. Once the policy was implemented, the boats were turned back, when safe to do so, and it stopped them coming to zero.

So, they were safe in Turkey, but then tried their luck in Europe. So, by definition, they weren't refugees, just illegal immigrants.

The US Army could have poured poppy fields in Afghanistan for a long time, or force them to grow something else, not drugs, and there would be no refugees and war, but if this is not done, then it's profitable for all, and these people and their descendants will suffer.

@nytimes you left out the word 'economic' before the word migrant. They were going to the EU to leach off the system that's already bleeding to death. These people have no intention of integrating or becoming productive members of society.
