This is unacceptable. We need more not less education. We should not accept this nonsense. If we have trouble finding schools we should take money away from legislators and spend it on education. Take money away from corruption, waste and spend it on education will not accept thi

This is happening everywhere. What happens when immigrants take over rural towns? Who will pay for schools then? No school? America will be on the move too!

How about the countries they come from? Those who receive billions in US aid. Treat your people right! We will assist in that!

Welcoming immigrants to villages facing population decline could help schools in Arena, WI keep their doors open. Could the complexity of population decline could be lessened by building more diverse communities?

Education here is not as important as in other countries. Then society wonders why kids can’t get ahead or fall victim to taking the wrong paths in life.

I grew up in OH w/schools funded by levies. Now a military mom, I've moved my kids from a rural KY school, to a heavily private-funded (but public) school in CO Spgs & now await the 2018 yr in rural TN. What we've learned: school's are as strong as your community. Be part of it.

People are missing the point. There are fewer jobs in rural areas to allow young families to thrive. The article is about the decline of the community. Jobs in rural areas are needed.
