Glenn Beck lost his job at CNN a few years ago, if memory serves. Does a private news organization have the right to set the tone they wish for their readers? Yup, now if the readers don't like it, they can choose a different news outlet.

Omg...pls don’t blame CNN for this Glenn Becks firing, he was on FOX News and they ‘separated’ http://www.businessinsider.com/glenn-beck-fox-news-fired-ratings-2011-4 … I know the Fox (Trump) News crowd lives in their own fact world but Google still exists for both of our worlds. Pls use it.

Again, tone. They can let someone go for it - they need to sell papers or close up shop. FOX can do it, so can a small paper. Personally, I would have many voices, but news orgs tend to lean hard one way or another.

Their loss, your gain. Now you can go where your great talents will be appreciated, fortune favours the brave etc.. Sod them, you'll thank them at same time you see their regrets.

I feel for the people of the United States - the reputation and image of this country is at stake. Because of the poor actions of their current Head of State. Bad for the world and bad for diplomacy.

Re under, folks - a cartoonist was murdered by people whose mindset is Exactly The Same as the radical Islam they purport to hate. Devotion to “dear leader” over constitution & rule of law seems to be gaining ground among the RWNJshttps://www.nbcnews.com/storyline/paris-magazine-attack/charlie-hebdo-shooting-12-killed-muhammad-cartoons-magazine-paris-n281266 …

Political cartoonists are gonna have opinions, I just wonder if he crossed some lines in being so angry that there was no humor left in his work?

Another question that can be answered through a simple online search, but needs to be qualified in order to be analogous.
