In much of the U.S., the stereotype that boys do better than girls at math isn’t true. But there’s a notable exception.https://nyti.ms/2sSaqao

"On English tests, girls test better than boys regardless of their parents’ socioeconomic status." This gender bias must be addressed immediately.

Women and men are different, regardless of count with the same human potential, express in a diverse kind of ways. The actual constant gender relate comparative advantages in different fields, is a futility game.

I think before one can come to the conclusion. it is more important to look at whether in poorer communities girls were given more support than boys especially when support comes from government fund challenging the norms. However,in rich areas one assume fair support to both

Given this data it is crystal clear that the only crisis here are teachers discriminating against boys in English.

This is ignoring biology. Yes environment plays a large role but me and my brother for example, have very different traits. I’ve always been better in science and math and he’s always been better at language, grammar and spelling. Men and women are not the same.

Uh, data are data, they don't ignore anything. On the average, boys only outperform girls on math tests in certain districts. Biology is orthogonal to the measurements in this study

You're not much of a scientist. Please resign. I bet you're a social constructionist too, which means you're crazy and you like to create your own alternate reality

In my reality facts matter and beliefs are irrelevant. Data say that boys & girls in most districts perform similarly, but in others boys do better. If boys are biologically better, then most districts must be elevating girls or suppressing boys somehow. Or maybe it's not biologypic.twitter.com/AWjYoTQMVy
