        Very good article, the problem with these retooled franchises is that the premises themselves are dated and formulaic so merely casting women in the male parts does nothing to move things forward for either female actresses or their audiences.

        This is what I was saying. I love the idea of an all female cast. I just don't think it works well for them to do the gender-flip on something that already exists. Hollywood needs to write these deserving ladies something fresh, new and exciting. Not re-hatch ideas for a quick $.
