We've deleted this earlier erroneous tweet to the article. It was the first time a joint bid from 3 countries was selected; it was not the first time any joint bid was selected.pic.twitter.com/bK2uE47uMT

Of course you don't know or have tradition on Football (soccer). Japan & South Korea held the first join bid. But after that one FIFA said that was the last of this kind. Why changing this? MONEY OF COURSE. Money makes the monkey dance.

For any developing or semi-developing nation, the World Cup is an absolute plague. I wouldn't wish it on any country that doesn't have all of the infrastructure and a strong economy. I hope Canada will be able to compete because we are also hosting it

What is the difference between " joint bid from 3 countries " and just " joint bid " ???

It is very interesting that while Trump increasingly attacks his neighbors, gets a reminder that the North American community is bigger than any Presidency. He will pass and life goes on. #WorldCup2026
