The idea that @UMich is a repressive environment is farcical. I was there as a visiting scholar last year & saw various posters promoting free speech, diversity & inclusion. If the conservative students feel threatened by this policy, then maybe they're the "snowflakes." #GoBlue!pic.twitter.com/zhJ2KlaSo8

It’s not a matter of being a “snowflake.” At my own college, I feel like it’s a crime to have the conservative beliefs that I do and have a very difficult time expressing myself in fear of being harassed by others who have different opinions/beliefs, which has happened before.

I am genuinely sorry that you've been harassed. It must be very difficult to hold a minority view in a liberal place like Austin. From what I witnessed at UoM, characterizing their policy as repressive is inaccurate b/c promoting civility & inclusivity should be on every policy.

Students protesting abortion is their right. It is also the time to call out MAGA for exactly what it is. It embodies racism and hate.

You've watered the term "racism" down so much it just about has no meaning left. Congrats!

If you say racist things you will get called a racist. It's really that simple.

This is so dangerous. The justice dept should not be involved with this.
