North Korea made few concessions. But here’s why President Trump is still betting on his “special bond” with Kim Jong-un for a nuclear dealhttps://nyti.ms/2sPZ9Hg

I don’t need to read the article to know it’s because Trump is an idiot, has no sense of historical context, operates in his “me” vacuum, and has a Jesus complex the size of China.

Didn’t Kim also have a ‘special bond’ with the half bro he murdered?

Trump's "special bond" w Kim has nothing to do with a nuclear deal & everything to do w a waterfront condo/hotel deal.

This brings to mind George W. Bush's hubris in declaring that he was able to get a sense of Putin's soul.

This is more bs spin from the NYT. They won’t say he lies, but they expound at length about “special bonds” with dictators. Terrible. Not journalism.

KJU will never have a better chance to get concessions at low cost than now. All DJT wants is to hit story points, to create a mental narrative for his base. Actual content of deal irrelevant to him, but he has to get to "Yay! USA! USA!" KJU knows that Trump needs that.

And for those of us old enough to remember Soviet agit-prop of the early and mid-20th century, there’s this NoKo propaganda film produced by the White House. Chilling.https://youtu.be/aYsaC2CADs0

The view from Seoul: why the Trump-Kim ‘deal’ worries South Koreans https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2018/jun/12/south-koreans-worried-trump-kim-deal?CMP=share_btn_tw … his #1 objective was to sell beachfront hotels so proof positive #trump guided by self-interest, ego, impulse, immediate self-gratification and gives a shit about important issues !
