Jeff Sessions made it all but impossible for asylum seekers to gain entry into the United States by citing fears of domestic abuse or gang violencehttps://nyti.ms/2y1o0NG

BS! Obama lowered the standard in 2011/12 to let thousands of Syrians into the US. All @jeffsessions did was to end the fake publicity stunt.

Mark... you may want to change your profile. Pursuit of justice seems to be the last thing about which you are concerned. I bet you call yourself s Christian too... shameful.

Hypocrisy. That was fairly obvious but there it is, I spelled it out for you.

Might high of you... In particular considering that the specific excuse the Director of the Los Angeles Asylum office used, almost to the word, to tell me I had to wait a year, for my 'credible fear' interview. Syrians, had priority over anyone else. So, judge YOUR system.

It’s precisely that “because the system failed me” and “I got mine so to hell with you” attitude that keeps our broken system broken. Comprehensive immigration reform including asylum reforms are critically important for our country’s continued prosperity. Good begets good!

That is, quite possibly, the worst thing we could do. Labor is one of the three factors of production & the most valuable. Our plentiful and varied labor supply is what has made our economy great. We should embrace and streamline immigration making it fair & predictable.

President Trump’s immigration policy is the worst of many abhorrent policies and will damage our country for years to come.

Truly disgusting. No one wants to be an asylum seeker. They do it when they have no other options and what they're fleeing is terrifying.

Tell me - if your spouse beats you up is your first reaction to pay a year's worth of income to a coyote to move half way across the world? Do you do the same if there are gangs in your neighbourhood. If the US didn't offer free food and medical care would you move there?

The President loves to talk about how horrible the murderous Central American gangs are while denying asylum to the people who are threatened by them and will be killed if deported. How does that make sense?

Fear eliminates the kind of growth you only experience from different ideas, different cultures, different languages, different people. The United States of America’s borderlines are fortuitous. We should embrace our neighbors not fear them. #loveliveNM
