Just because she had to please her Islamic audience for whom she covers her head all the time doesn't mean she can desecrate the rudraksha.

You should have your head examined. The actor does not have any role in the script development. I don't see a reason why she should apologize(except for her sorry acting).

I strongly agree with the "you should have your heard examined" part. I strongly recommend it and I hope you'll consider it.

Wait!? How is the actress under fire and apologizing for script writing and network television scheduling and the producers who ok’d it all?

welcome to reality 2.0 where apology by proxy is the new social behavior.

Man... I know humanity has some issues to work through and that summit is certainly important but come on. People are jumping on bandwagons or finding issues that aren’t even there. Im sure this one episode was not made to undermine social progress.

Priyanka is a selfish opportunist. She forgets the ladder provided to her talent by the same tolerant Indians to climb the zenith of her career. People generally forshake & forget their roots when inebriated by success. Her fake apology knows which side her bread is buttered.

“Tolerant Indians”, yeah right🙄 #GTFO India has the most appalling discriminatory societal values. A white supremacist will feel like he’s black compared to most Indians if he understood how an Indian society works

With ref to ur comment: "discriminatory societal values" of India, sir, you'll be awed to know the tremendous financial, preferential & legal benefits reaped by the so-called discriminated-against. This stigma is their trump card in this pluralistic society. So #GTFI .

Those financial, preferential and legal benefits that you talk about are purely due to the votebank politics. A party needs some minority votes in order to win. We are talking about tolerance in the mindset of the people. That’s where it counts.
