I wish nyt has contacted his loved ones before conducting this massive twitter coverage. Some family members may prefer a quieter mourning.

By all means lets follow step-by-step what triggered this man’s suicidal ideation into uncontrollable self harm. Let’s publish, promote and distribute that as far and wide as possible because... something something people’s rights... CLICKS

Why the celebrities like Anthony Bourdain's and Kate Spade's killing themselves where they were touching the success. What's the circumstances to end like this when they are so young needs to know deep...

Seems odd right? I can't just accept the whole " mental illness" clause. And how about the other celebrity deaths in the last hmm.... 18- 24 months? ..... Somethings fishy.

Just a decade ago this would not qualify to be published as a story in the New York Times because there is no information here, it’s just fluff and press release, no actual investigation of any kind. I take it nobody from the New York Times is actually looking into his death?

How very sad to lose this man...With his recent public, coarse words against the Clintons and being a powerful voice on the left......I would lean towards Arkancide instead of suicide...

it does seem odd that his suicide appears more spur of the moment. Then agsin, perhaps this is exactly as he planned it. How will anyone ever know? I wish people ending their lives would leave a note. It doesn't appear he did, which is even more sad for his daughter and family.

Nope. Frequently an impulse. That’s why suicide is lower when there’s fewer guns. No gun, impulse passes. Gun present, tragedy happens
