With Kyrie Irving's popularity has come controversy: He has questioned several times whether the Earth is round, and in his most extensive comments to date on the subject, he said that it was still worth debatinghttps://nyti.ms/2LzYsJk

I've heard some sports experts say that basketball is actually played with two triangles that you juggle. I'm not saying I know who is right. I'm just saying I think both sides have a point.

In fairness, Eratosthenes worked it out a looooooong time before that.

That came across as mansplain-y. I apologize. I wasn't attempting to explain to you or correct you. I really meant it in the context of "in addition to that..." Apologies.

It doesn’t bother me that he thinks this, but it does irritate me that we will discuss his ignorant beliefs. Idiots are everywhere, this one happens to play basketball.

Why debate it with him? Who cares if he believes the world is flat. People believe Trump is God’s gift to the US and we KNOW that ain’t true!

Why don't you offer to fly him around the globe and ride with him the whole time and write about that instead? That would be more interesting and possibly enlighten folks who think the world is a lazy susan.

Could Kyrie Irving be right? After all, no one has ever proven Round Ball is played with round balls. Maybe basketballs are flat and THEY only want us to think basketballs are round. Which begs the question, "WHO ARE THEY?".
