I’ve been living in Taiwan for over 25 years. I’ll never forget reading #Kitchen Confidential. Today, I’m going to find a new hole in the wall restaurant I’ve never been to in Kaohsiung and have a beer in memory of #AnthonyBourdain.pic.twitter.com/YgTuUg7JEW

What often keeps us alive is the fear and pain of death. Imagine that same fear that we feel about dying each and every day, is how someone else feels about living. Each and every day.

Bourdain was my escape to places and foods I'll never see or taste but yet he made me feel I was right there with him. A truly wonderful soul that the earth needs more of. Rest in Peace Tony.

My favorite Bourdain battle was when he openly took on Paula Deen for the overtly unhealthy recipes she promoted on her show. Little did anyone know at the time Deen was hiding the fact that her extremely rich diet had led her to become diabetic.

He drank, smoked, he did every drug, and he was very forthright on those demons. And anyone who does a show with David Johansen about eating and drinking in Staten Island is fine by me.

We need more of them even if they keep killing themselves?

This is such a disgusting comment. Would you say the same thing about veterans who kill themselves at a rate of 20 per day?

I would say veteran suicides get overlooked thanks to stars who kill themselves, sucking all the oxygen out of the discussion and getting most of the press.

Because famous people who kill themselves are somehow in less pain? Or are less important?

Both of my parents and 2 of of my grandparents are veterans. It is unfathomable that someone would make an ignorant comment like that. How dare you make such a vile baseless assumption.

HRC = Hillary Rotham Clinton Bourdain was claiming that she knew the Weinstein case and was protecting him. First he was harassed by her «goons», now he is dead. Strange.pic.twitter.com/d8KyzRxF5S
