NY Times bravely continues to propagandize in favor of the on-going genocide of desperate Palestinians by the US-supported IDF.

I'm not going to speak for the person you are replying to - I'm not actually sure what he meant by that, but Hamas is considered a terrorist organization by the U.S., EU, Canada, Egypt, Japan, and Jordan.

No, but Hamas needs to be the ones who come out with the olive branch. Article 13 of their tenants claims that negotiation isn't an option and jihad is the only answer. For over thirty years now they've made diplomacy impossible.

And don't get me wrong: Israel isn't completely innocent, but they are in a uniquely difficult position. Hamas is waging a PR war and Israel is losing.

Like israel gives a damn about PR and they ought to get it if they slaughter people without even giving an excuse.

I'm only looking at the situation as an outsider. I can't justify the situation over there because I'm not part of it. But Hamas's involvement is frequently overlooked and the notion that Israel is expected to defend its borders without any casualties is insane.
