Most of them aren't crossing illegally, they're legally presenting themselves at the border to ask for asylum (often fleeing violence), and we're separating the parents and children at that point. It's sickening.

This is not the law. Period. This is the policy the Trump Admin has chosen and actively embraced. I hope every last person involved in choosing to do this will feel the awful, inhumane weight of it on their consciences until the day they die.

Only when it’s convenient for them. Something like...On the one hand, “Obama is lawless and has open borders policy!” On the other hand, “Obama deported more people than any previous president; talk about harsh!”

Sunny is right; when I see stupid or obnoxious tweets (this one's mild IMO) I immediately look to see if they have few followers, newish yet have loads of tweets in short time. So many bots.

I propose to everybody to watch the film "The three burials of Merchiades Estrada" made my the movie actor and director Tommy Lee Jones. Apart from being a wonderful movie, honored with many international awards, it's also a lesson of being humane and respectful to immigrants.

Most of the people posting here with "ILLEGAL" show clear bot signs: very few or no followers, many tweets in a short time.
