My ancestors helped found this Country. & have fought in every war thru Vietnam, including War of 1812. A draft dodging 5X deferment loud mouth who can’t remember what Countries fought in War of 1812 offends me more than NFL players protesting racial injustice during the Anthem.

True....but do you seriously believe Trump knew that? Could he, in fact, find Canada on a map? He's still looking for Puerto Rico!!!!

It is an entirly symbolic. Hilarious to think you believe she is his boss. She has no power here. Plus really whats your point? Trump is using war of 1812 as an excuse for tarriffs. We were not a nation then. We are now. Stood with usa in several wars.

Canada’s website states the position of Head Of State is active in government, in decision making. Queen Elizabeth is represented by her Governor General as she is not in Canada https://lop.parl.ca/About/Parliament/Education/ourcountryourparliament/html_booklet/overview-canadian-parliamentary-system-e.html …pic.twitter.com/FZsBEHijXQ

Even when she visits she has zero power. The representative has zero power. What the actual is you point on this? Canada governed itsself for many years.

Whilst true it is a bit like saying the Elgin Marbles aren't Greek because they were stolen from the Ottomans... the WH was essentially burned in retaliation for American aggression in what is now Canada & burning of what is now Toronto. There are other things to attack Trump on!

It was done under the British rule, not Canada. We became a country in 1867.

What is so hard to understand about a regime change? Not the same government. Would you say the USA did the things attributed to the Confederacy? No, because the sourhern states would NOT have acted as they had if they'd stayed in the union. Stop dropping IQ to make trump right.

Canadians" were British colonials at the time of War of 1812. That's like pointing out that George Washington was a British Colonial, not an American, when he fought the Revolutionary War. Big whoop. You people are nuts.
