Gray Walden sings: “Fuck Martin Luther King,” & “Torture n*ggers with firehouses and the Klu Klux Klan." Walden also calls for “genocide” on all LGBTQ people. Sources say that Gray Walden just got admitted to, and a scholarship to, Univ. of Alabama.https://www.independentpressjournal.com/2018/06/06/did-racist-student-gain-admission-to-receive-scholarship-to-university-of-alabama/ …

Being in "Canada" or any other country does not mean he hasn't heard the news. People as far away as Canada have obviously heard about Alabama's racism issues to an extent that it doesn't even surprise them. I think that speaks more about Alabama than anywhere, or anyone else.

We represent minorities (@NAACP) in Baldwin County ALABAMA, and confirm what IPJ is reporting. We also agree that Alabama is full of racism, and many of our residents and officials are outright racists. I’ve been to Canada. Racism is less of an issue there, that IS true.

When I was living overseas and told people (who could barely apeak English) that I used to work in Alabama, most of them associated it with racism and racists. I couldn’t correct them either, because technically, they’re right.

That’s because of idiots in the media making assumptions about the south. When in reality it’s just as bad up north. Ask Massachusetts

College is for getting an education, not all these other distractions. Pretty sure there was a study done showing how grades suffered if you were in a frat.

Actually the statistic is the exact opposite because all fraternities have a minimu Gpa, normally 2.8 or higher. Gotta have a little fun while your in college, when else will you do that?

Exactly whereas people not in Greek life can get a degree with a 2.0. You can drink on the weekends and still have plenty of time for education in the other 120 hours of the week

Banning fraternities will push the idiotic and dangerous behavior to private spaces that the young people, often with help from parents, will rent or buy. We need to raise youngsters who would never do this stuff.
