Just a thought: legalize and regulate marijuana, then commute the sentences of those serving time for it, in essence pardoning thousands. But that probably makes too much sense.

The prison industry will never allow it. However, if the gov was smart they would do it. Jobs are going unfilled. Combine this w/ mass deportations & the labor pool is shrinking. If it means freedom I bet non violent offenders would gladly work for minimum wage.

That's the problem - that prison is an "industry". Shameful.

So Trump was told what to do by a celebrity, who got famous through a sex tape. Who is the dumb here?

I have no problem with this pardon, I just have a problem with why it happened. There are plenty of worthy people, but they don't happen to be famous or have famous relatives. We all know Trump would never have given this kind of attention to someone poor.

Why shouldn’t all drug-related offenders be pardoned? Most of their crimes are minor #Pardon

I’m a Democrat and I got to give it to him it wasn’t a bad decision, the sentence was way to long only because of her race. When white sentences on opioid related cases get way shorter sentences.
