Bill Clinton admitted that the "Today" interview "wasn't my finest hour." But then he doubled down on much of what he'd said. Our late-night roundup:https://nyti.ms/2HopmBv

The affair, while regrettable, was exactly that: an affair. A consensual affair, that by her own account was actively pursued, sought after by Monica. Of course Pres. Clinton should've known better, but FFS. It has zero to do with ANY possible reading of #MeToo

Can’t be a “consensual affair” with a subordinate, especially if you’re president of the United States.

Why are we rehashing the president from 6-7 administrations ago while the current one is attempting to destroy our nation?

We can quibble about terminology, but yes ... 4-year terms. Clinton left office nearly two decades ago, and yet some groups are still trying to use him as a distraction from present matters :\

Oh I completely agree with your comment. Not trying to be the terminology police or anything, I was just pointing out that a two-term president is still 8 years of the same Administration. But yes, I don't see why Bill Clinton matters as far as current policy is concerned

Oh of course, cabinet members change through different terms. Even if the positions are held my new members in the second term, it's still the administration of the same President. I guess that's just a matter of syntax. Anyways... what were we talking about again 🤔 lol

Um who cares? Why NOT cover more important and pressing issues such as #WhereAreTheChildren or what about what happened in Puerto Rico? Why cover something that happened 20+ yrs ago? This is just a damn distraction and there's salient things going on right now.

And it should not have been a reason to give a f*ck twenty years ago. I was a Republican then and was pissed they were going after him! ... partially why I became a Dem

It would be really cool if the Clintons could go away for a bit. Like out of the limelight. They've had their time and now people need to move on to newer and better things.

Clinton got impeached, tried, disbarred and the first line of his obit was written 20 years ago. That's punishment; he's paid his debt to society. If the same happens to Trump, I won't need to hear him apologize 20 years from now to think he's paid his debt, too.
