When I was 5, my father left, leaving my mom and grandmother to raise my brother and me. You don't know anything about a woman's strength, my man. It's endless.

Not bashing on your mom or grandma, but did u really just compare managing a global, highly successful and one of the best airlines in the world to managing a family?

Yes, I absolutely did. But my point is more about this man's myopic view of gender and ability. Does he realize we've had female astronauts, CEOs, civil rights leaders, and so on.

I'm with you, I will NEVER fly Qatar airlines again. Has he not read any history? So grateful I was born in New Zealand who were the first country in the world to give women the vote & not a country ruled by backward men too insecure to handle a strong woman. Shame. #metoo

I was kind of joking, as I would never have the occasion to fly to Qatar; nevertheless I like and support your statement (especially if you actually WOULD have the occasion to fly on their airline!)

Presumption that women can’t do certain job on the merit of sex, is discriminative and sexist. People should be evaluated for any job based on their professional qualities and expertise, not by the archaistic prejudices.

Absolutely, but isn’t it a tad ethnocentric to apply our cultural standards to a country like Qatar? This comment is outrageous but not unexpected. Change needs to come from grassroots within.
