Never thought I’d see the day when the UN would call out the US on a human rights violation. How much lower can we sink? I am so disgusted with this administration.

Can someone please ask @POTUS which law he believes requires him to take children away from their parents? He says the law requires it. He's never said which law he's referring to -- because there is no such law. Will someone in the press ask him or @PressSec to cite the statute?

I do. This is the only country I know. Patriot act, second gulf way, flimsy justifications for terrorism in the Middle East and on marginalized, especially Black communities domestically, 3 million deportations, GITMO, and attacks on whistleblowers, and now overt fascism.

Grew up during the 60's and 70's. Family was very involved in politics, human rights and family. The one thing you didn't see back then was people ignoring our country as a whole, democracy was the one thing we all agreed on.

Maybe the US needs to cut aid to the UN? By far the most money they get? We give more humanitarian aid than the next 4 countries combined. Yeah we are really evil.

Hey Doug, it’s based on a countries GNP and not their goodwill, so there’s that. And the conservative side of America is always bitching about the UN and wanting to pull out of the UN. So there’s that. Never said America was evil, broken.

Great, seek asylum legally then. They’re putting their children in more danger using this illegal method. Legal protocol would call for Mexico to save them.
