After a teenager was fatally shot by a police officer, his family searched for answers from the city they lost faith in. How did trust between the police and the people in Baltimore collapse within the span of three generations?https://nyti.ms/2JfMvLW

What year did the Democrats take control of Baltimore?

Not a “party” issue, but thanks for doing your part to divide us further. Your mother must be so proud.

I don't know... maybe because the police kept shooting the people in Baltimore?

Maybe because parents are raising children with no respect for authority and protecting them from consequences to poor choices?

Isn’t the Mayor, Police Commisioner, AG, black? Aren’t the city council members, mostly black? Aren’t these leaders voted by their constituents? If they lost the trust of the people, here’s a crazy idea, vote for someone else! “What do you have to lose” sounds kinda like ... DUH

Collapse of faith and effectiveness in local institutions, when run by one party for decades, is a human issue directly caused by a party.

The amount of black people killed by police doesn’t even come close to the number killed by other black people. Gang violence is the problem. We need more police, not less.

Because you have eilijah Cummings more worried about hating the president then he cares about his constituents.

If it’s not the policy than why are people losing trust in the very people (mostly black) who best represent the city? They were elected by the people and now they lost trust. That’s leadership. That’s policy. Can’t blame the “system” when the people voted for that system.

The same reason 60% of Americans have no trust in the Republican President, Republican Congress, & Republican courts: bad actors, bad police (bipartisan). Your oversimplification does nothing but try to further a false narrative.

Sadler lost job @ WH. Most Super Bowl champs refused to go to WH. Manafort caught tampering w/witnesses. Gun control laws being enacted in many states. US is out of G7 talks, it’s now G6, as T is unwelcome. Mexico will NEVER pay for The Wall. Yeah, all this winning is amazing. 🤣
