President Trump said he had the power to pardon himself. It's a sign that he could take extreme action to shield himself in the Russia inquiry.https://nyti.ms/2LlLLle

It’s one of his most outrageous pronouncements to date. This should give Americans serious cause for concern.

for quite a while now: not only Americans. The whole world is a better and safer place with a sane American president 🙄

You’re right. Everyone should be concerned; not only Americans. His actions affect people and issues far beyond US shores. I think it’s safe to say that no previous US president may ever have caused so many at home and abroad to feel so uneasy. We all live dangerously with #45.

Let him try-Ask Nixon Only 3 days before Nixon resigned the Office of Legal Counsel concluded “No one may be a judge in his own case” That’ may be an untested proposition & Congress could challenge how broad a POTUS's Pardon Power & to whom it extends?https://www.straightdope.com/columns/read/9977/can-congress-override-a-presidential-pardon/ …pic.twitter.com/6UVdQ1HiQK

Increasingly obvious Trump gearing up to either terminate the Mueller probe or pardon himself if/when they find anything on him. The big question is how people will react to either of those.
