Audio books are a nice alternative while your visual senses are otherwise occupied (or absent). I prefer to read in main because it's faster. I already reject news videos that don't have a transcript unless it has a potent visual message.

After listening to several books on Audible, the thing that becomes clear is that bad books only sound worse when read aloud.

What a shame. The loss of the written word will only contribute to our growing illiteracy. An author should know better.

That’s a lot of trouble to go to and a large market to sacrifice, just to give deaf people the middle finger.
