I think it helps for a better foundation in most cases but not all. I got married at 30 and divorced at 43. Pushing fifty now and I'm still single and it's okay.

In this part of the world where I'm from, you get married bec it's the play between culture & family pressure telling you that you need "someone" to look after your needs & its time to have babies otherwise, too old!

It's because the Master's degree is the new Bachelor's degree. We also need five years of experience to get entry level jobs at 22. We have no money for children and a partner, we barely have enough for ourselves...
