If the “alternatives” are better then how come they don’t work? California’s world economy ranking means nothing to the homeless. Why aren’t our roads in better shape? How come we have the worst traffic congestion west of the Mississippi? Why is BART an open air drug user bazaar.

Don’t forget about the massive mental illness issues in the State for which Sacramento has been collecting taxes to address but spending that money somewhere else.

California represents civility, progress and equality. These are qualities that form the foundation of the United States. Trump, his supporters and the Republican Party stand for the exact opposite. #USCultureWar

As a California resident I can honestly say this is complete garbage. LA Times poll last week said 39% of Democrats don’t like the policies of the Democrat leadership. Cities and counties voting against sanctuary policies left and right. Pure propaganda

Judd must be breathing some California rarified air to retweet this nonsense. Us folks here on the ground would rather spare the rest of the nation from the absolute mess this state has become. Gas prices, infrastructure and the homeless problems are real to the average citizen.

Yet it has the highest income inequality in the country, massive pension obligations, high energy cost, housing shortages, and worst homeless situation in the country. I’ll pass on CA leading the way for the rest of us

So, instead of smug isolationism behind that fact...something Trump seems to be pushing hard...Californians should offer that experience of population, geography and governance. Suggestion: coalition of states for improving democracy led by CA?

California isn’t perfect, but it seems everyone aspires to live here because of location, climate, and amenities. The problems of income inequality and affordable housing are a result of demand outstripping supply. Who the hell wants to live in Iowa anyway?
