Chemotherapy and Radiation HAVE NEVER BEEN "APPROVED" by the FnDA - drug companies and doctors won't like this - #CancerIsACashCow for them - and people die horrible deaths.

I want to share this because I disagree with you. I received chemo for 6 months, 7 weeks of radiation after 4 surgeries and Tamoxifen for stage 2b breast cancer with lymph node involvement. That was in 2001, and so far, am cancer free. That is 17 years ago.

Nothing new... we already knew that two years ago with #MINDACT study and #Mammaprint . #Tailorx does not help much patients with the chemo question, as most (75%) of the patients in trial were clinically low risk (don’t need chemo in the first place)

Once again and in this case as a clinician involved in caring for breast cancer patients I find myself concerned by how the media reports medical studies and how it affects patients understanding of their clinical care and choices.

As a BRCA2 positive person, this in one more indication that there is no one size fits all cancer treatment. People need to work with their doctor using the best available information at the time to make a decision that is right for them.

I had a malignant brain tumour and feel very positive about chemo. Never forget - the chemo is your friend not your enemy.

Why would anyone consider taking chemo with the terrible side effects with a 2.3% success rate? Your more likely to die from the chemo than help the cancer...

Je ne vois pas ce qu'il y a de très nouveau. L'institut Curie procede déjà ainsi. Chaque cancer est différent. Pour certains pas de chimiothérapie. Et de plus en plus des traitements differencies.

ALT. TO CHEMOTHERAPY : IT WOULD B A GREAT GIFT OF MEDICAL SCIENCE IF AN ALTERNATIVE TO CHEMOTHERAPY IS FOUND OUT FOR BREAST CANCER, TO BEGIN WITH, TO AVOID DANGEROUS CHEMO-THERAPY, WHICH HAS A HEAVY TOLL ON HEALTH OF THE PATIENT. WOMEN MAY GET RESPITE FROM DREADED CHEMO TREATMNT
