        It does not matter if the words come from someone leaning Right or Left. Wrong speech is wrong - period! Most of us learn right from wrong by the age of 2. At that age we lack the impulse control. We should expect better from adults!

        I didn’t/don’t like that word-I believe in free speech though. The mistake here is believing a group of NY Times journalists represent the morality of the US. This thinking is how we got DT. Most of America doesn’t fall into this group - so, not relevant or meaningful to most.

        So Im sure the NYT got all the female journaists in a room to get their views .Then called up each one , but not by their name ,but by the C word. Then asked them how they felt about being called the C word. I'm sure they are all fine with it & now, the new normal at the NYT.

        Those children are not 'missing'. It's that the sponsors they were placed with, usually family, have chosen not to respond to follow-up requests about those children.
