As for DPRL,the Trump - Kim summit is entirely intended for peace and stability of the Korean Peninsula and the world." It's a golden opportunity to end decades of confrontation. DPRK says it never expects U.S. economic aid in return for denuclearization.pic.twitter.com/1JAH26gtiC

My personal opinion is that the NK regime is feeling the food sanctions hard and that is mainly why they are so willing to talk. Starvation usually = revolt and unrest.

Whoa, actually, no, I dont far from it, also Ive been following North Korean human rights for 19 years- (here is a good resource! http://www.ohchr.org/EN/HRBodies/HRC/CoIDPRK/Pages/PublicHearings.aspx … ) Still, Unification WOULD be a good thing IF...the mind just reels. Its very complicated-70 yrs of history+pain+lies+truth?

Like you I sure would like to see this open wound heal! What more can I say. I'm- like most who dive into Korea's situation, am hoping very much for some kind of irreversible change which brings the best out in all of us.
