Whale hunt by Alaskan, Canadian, Norwegian, Icelander and Danish, it's OK. Whale hunt by Japanese isn't OK. I got it 🙄🙄

Whaling in Canada is only legal within certain Inuit groups in Northern Canada. And is done in very small numbers. It is allowed by the government out of respect to an ancient, and Native way of life for the Inuit people.

It's too. We have shrine for whale as a god for people. But Japanese culture isn't important, racism comments on this topic tell me.

Respectfully, I think you need to research who the Inuit people of Canada are before you make claims of it being a case of white privilege.

whether it's legal or not is not the question. Whether or not it's morally right is. And it is utterly abhorrent.

Hey Japan, you’ve told us for years that hunting whales is for scientific research. Well, what is this research? Show us the results of your amazing research that you have worked so hard on for so long. I’m sure the research contributes to the whales’ survival.

News Flash: Hundreds of protesters were killed in broad daylight on camera by Israel. The NY Times defended Israel. But now they are concerned about Whales? I don’t think even the Whales want your hypocritical support.

I’m not simply talking about coverage. I’m talking about the double standard being applied here. Just last week (through multiple journalists) the NYTimes was defending “Israel’s right to defend its borders.” While they were slaughtering human beings in broad daylight.

It’s amazing how the New York Times can have more sympathy for Whales than the innocent Palestinians being slaughtered by Israeli commandos. Literally living in an open air prison without the freedom to even live as normal human beings. Killed for protesting.
