The phrase “fast sex, slow love” was used to describe the juxtaposition of casual sexual liaisons and long-simmering committed relationships among millennialshttps://nyti.ms/2L7BNE5

Is it possible that marriage is an archaic vestige of a time when women were basically purchased from their fathers and branded with a new name to show that ownership has changed hands?

Quick question, why should we get married?

Personally I prefer to be debt free first then get married. It's better to have something sustainable going for myself before putting a ring on it. Just my opinion.

It's almost like we see our parents getting divorced left and right and decided that maybe we should make sure the person we are with is ACTUALLY worth it. Also, weddings are expensive. And divorce is even worse.

I'm a Millennial. I've never heard that phrase. You Baby Boomers gotta stop writing about the love/sex life of millennials. Imagine The Greatest Generation writing about the love/sex life of your generation.

"put a ring on it" because how will your partner know you love them if you don't spend way too much money on something shiny with ZERO function

Might be smart considering over half of all marriages fail. But that paints millennials in a good light and we can't have that!!!

Women should be forced to have kids for society to continue. Its simply not possible to have immigrants with different cultures massively migrate to replace the rapid decline in fertility. There has been no country in history without a dominant culture.

Well, a woman is born with about 500 eggs and they begin to fall at menarche (around age 12). At about age 35, female fertility rapidly declines and a few years later most eggs are out. Women are welcome to explore careers but their body is not going to wait!
