The sole survivor of an attack in which four people were murdered identified the perpetrators as three white men. The police ignored suspects who fit the description and arrested a young black man instead.https://nyti.ms/2IW4Eyn

What is this 1940??.... Once he is found innocent, the detectives should be locked up for racial profiling & abuse of power.

Shame that @KamalaHarris and Governor @JerryBrownGov, whow I usually support, were too “busy” with Politics to give this man a chance to be exonerated. Hope the @NYT spotlight causes Brown to allow the DNA test.

@JeffLowe1953 This is happening in CA. @JerryBrownGov has remained silent. @KamalaHarris @SenFeinstein @AGBecerra He’s still on death row after being put there by evidence planted by San Bernardino Sheriff’s Dept

Thank you @nytimes. Even with these findings, justice STILL isn’t being pursued. Mind boggling. What it is going to take, America?

If Kevin Cooper was framed, the officers who framed him are guilty of attempted murder.

Excellent reporting. I hope that the appeal to @SenKamalaHarris comes through this time. I am not a supporter of the death penalty, but if that is the consequence, then every avenue must be exhausted to ensure an innocent person is not punished.

Yawn. More of some 40 year old drivel. Guess there really isn’t much racism nowadays despite the propaganda by MSM. Let’s dig up old stuff to keep the rats fighting for the same piece of cheese.

What do you know about the case other than what you are fed from MSM. You know jack, so don’t pretend to be an authority. If he’s innocent, he will be released and paid off handsomely. It ain’t right, but don’t think for a second the legal system doesn’t do it today

If he's innocent? I hope they get to the point of actually trying to figure it out before he's executed.

Well that’s the point. No prosecutor or politician within the system wants or cares to figure out if he’s innocent (which is extremely likely based on circumstantial and forensic evidence). Plus, he has no more appeals. Likely the govt will unjustly kill this man.

I don't know whether the black skin depicts notorious by nature. Cos this is too much, there is too much rift going on these days. Racism should be over by now in this modern age.
