the same Hollywood that defended Harvey Weinstein for decades and gave a standing ovation to Roman Polanski. Same Hollywood that pick and choose who gets to apologize and move on and who gets cancelled swiftly. same Hollywood that rants against racism then turns around be racist.

How sad. I didn’t watch the show but I do feel badly for those who did & for the cast & crew, all of whom are now unemployed thanks to one woman’s tweets. 1st Amendment protects you from the Government... it does not protect you from yourself or the consequences of your words.

...but not from the rest of the country as she is abusing her power by not firing Joy Reid. It’s a double standard. Oh, that’s because it’s payback time. Idiots.

Equating them, especially Wolf, to Roseanne's comments is simply ridiculous.

Efforts to placate ignorance and bigotry under the guise of trying to "represent" folks who reflect it on TV and portray them in a "nuanced" way backfired spectacularly. Maybe because the effort itself is flawed. Ignorance and bigotry should not be respected, but rejected.
