So loan money out to a failing business, while at the same time the govt dismantlesDodd-Frank, so when the bank man comes calling, as he always does, they won’t be able to pay back and loans defrauded, govt bails out banks and props up coal yet again.

And there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that. Capitalism doesn’t have to be evil. It’s only made that way by terrible leaders. Same as every form of economic theory that has ever existed.

As long as Trump pledges to prop it up (something he's actually failed to), banks will consider it investable. Once something collapses industry wide or Trump is out of the equation, they will stop lending.

the banks never agreed to that and it makes no sense for them to stop giving loans to coal companies.

Well sure, the #tRump #CorruptGOP has removed the Frank-Dodd regulations - just a little back scratching going on here. Nothing to see....a little extra black lung to go around so that people can die from lack of healthcare for added measure. #dumptrump #shitholepresident

Expecting Big Banks to lend “responsibly for the greater good” is to fault the scarecrow for being made out of wood.
