Growing up, I thought Christianity was the following: Showing kindness and compassion towards one another, giving to those in need, and loving someone for who they were, not displaying ignorance in the name of "religion".

That is the saddest thing about it. These days, you can't even trust religion to deal with kids because then, they will just say about how they want the kids to be born, but not help their parents ensure that these kids will thrive for the next 18-21 years.

And this is why the Pro-life movement should not be dealing with kids.

Start taxing all religions. Let Graham, Osteen, Scientologists, and all the rest pay taxes like the rest of us.

Right. Michelangelo, Botticelli , da Vinci, Ghiberti's finest artworks are all there. Not to mention these expensive floor marbles, expensive silverwares, books stored in the secret archives, the Vatican Bank!

I remember being there in my early twenties and I exclaimed out loud something like oh my God. And this girl asked me what I was talking about. And I said I was amazed at how much money the Catholic church was sitting on. And she agreed with me.

It's unfathomable wealth. Business is running for 2018 years and still counting. They can really make tons of money out of religion.
