At the same time, technology should eradicate the poachers

How many thousands of species go extinct every day? There is a natural order to things, and maybe we should stop tampering with it!
-
A human hunting an animal to decorate a wall with its head or to grind its horn into powder to be used in fake medicine is not part of the natural order
-
When did I say it was? The article is about using technology to bring it back, and the answer is no.
-
But this animal going extinct is not part of the natural order, therefore if we have the power to reverse it then we should, its our responsibility if we don't want to continue on this path as a species that destroys everything it touches

Yes. They are going extinct because of poachers, not because of natural evolutionary causes.

Yes. And the dodo, and wooly mammoth, and countless other species exterminated by humans.

Extinction has its purpose, we'd be in trouble if dinosaurs still walked among us
-
I’m not sure how I feel about using science to bring the rhino back but it’s a very different situation than the dinosaurs. Dinosaurs became extinct because of natural weather patterns and events, humans caused the extinction of the white Rhino

-
The only reason weather and natural events took out the dinosaur is man wasn't there to do it. I'm saddened that rhino's are becoming extinct but science should allow events instead of trying to fix science isn't God
-
So you’re saying that it’s man’s job to take out species? Just clarifying because you said if man was around we would’ve taken out the dinosaurs? And then said science isn’t God? Why then is it okay when man takes out the species god created???
-
Because god gave man dominion over them
-
But by that logic science is a tool of man so why are we not free to use our gift from God?
