Burrowing owls are disappearing in a Silicon Valley park. Public records and snooping led to Google and its cat-loving employees.https://nyti.ms/2KTseIH

Euthanize ferrel cats. Stop feeding them and building them little huts euthanize them. We have the same over population in my neighborhood.

Sterilization is enough, there is no need to kill feral cats

Neighboring San Jose was actually the test case that proved that sterilization is the only way to keep feral cat numbers down. If you miss 2 and kill the others, those two find each other and breed numbers back up. If you miss 2 and sterilize 300, different story.

Simple solution: Keep your cats indoors! If it is a pet, it should be an indoor cat or always-fenced-in or leashed dog.

According to a study by the US Fish and Wildlife Service in 2013, cats kill between 1.4 and 3.7 billion birds annually. Please spay or neuter your cat, keep your cat indoors or, at the very least, put a collar on your cat with a bell to warn surrounding wildlife. Thank you.

Sad story. No one wants to euthanize these cats, and the owls are beautiful creatures. Another instance of humans upsetting nature's balance.

I’ve never met a cat that would stay in and enclosed area, you need indoor cats.
