President Trump falsely accused The New York Times on Saturday of making up a source in an article about North Korea, even though the source was in fact a senior White House official speaking to a large group of reporters in the White House briefing roomhttps://nyti.ms/2ILMqzD

The intellectual dishonesty perpetrated upon your readers is reflected in the quality of their contributions to this blog.Denuclearization, return of hostages, good economy, jobs, low taxes,VA reform, great trade negotiations&many other good aspects of the presidency are being ignored

I very rarely block. Trolls can appear to be making a good case to passersby unbeknown to the author of a thread who has blocked & muted them. Better to see them all and undermine their sabotage & call them out. Hope you're having a nice weekend :)

Just assume Trump is lying...much easier that way. He does it ALL the time. Not surprising.

If you have a source then NAME THE SOURCE. Don't say stupid remarks like "an official close to the President" or "someone not allowed to talk about it" otherwise you are open to ridicule. So in this case the President is right

Clearly you are uninformed of how the background briefings work - like your “president”. Try again to explain what you don’t know?

Yet again “falsely accused” Use the appropriate word “LIE” This is no ordinary time. This administration is sui generis. Your journalism code no longer applies. If you refrain from using strong language to accurately describe what Trump is doing, you are enabling him!
