        Why? Besides many ppl still juicing, its a lot bc guys have mastered the power swing in one plane. Its predicated on pitchers missing their spot one time in an at bat, and that batting avg is overrated if you score runs at that clip on your hits.Not complicated, just bad to watch

        Because they are using tighter seamed baseball with less air drag..Thats is why during the steroid era home run derbies players were only hitting like 6-10 n winning it n now they are hitting like 50 in HR derby.

        Maybe flat seam baseball is more aerodynamic & some players are huge: Judge is 6'8" 230-240, pitchers must put some in the strike zone. So livelier ball, stronger batter & ball in the zone=going, going, gone!
