        They are attacking that separation, little by little. They almost entirely got rid of the Johnson amendment in the last tax bill. Trump just weakened it.

        The "White Christian Evangelicals" have learned well from history - don't like your life, thing you've been short-changed, blame "somebody/anybody" else - push focus on common enemy. Give them someone to look down on, lift them up by stepping on someone else's neck.
