The pilgrims killed off almost all of my Native American ancestors and y’all wanna talk about invasion haha. Tisquantam did the same shit and turned his back on his people and yet you all still pretend to love the NATIVES on thanksgiving. SIT DOWN AND LEARN ABOUT YOUR GENOCIDE

Most Guatemalans are Native to this continent. Most speak Maya , a language native to this continent that has been here for thousands of years. If securing your borders and speaking English is a priority for you go back to England.

It hurts me to read all these comments and although I do agree with some of your points I’d also like you guys to think the reason behind people having to cross the border. I am Mexican, I grew up with a visa and visited the US often.

I moved to the US once I finished school in Mexico (I crossed legally) I get the point of “don’t cross illegally if you don’t want to get shot” I’m sure most of you guys say that while sitting in your couch or comfy chair, maybe watching TV or out drinking coffee or whatever

BUT you don’t understand or even imagine the hard life these people have to live in. A LOT of them don’t even have a house, they live on mountains and spend days without eating or drinking water

So have a heart... I totally get your point but these people act out of desperation, they need to survive and unfortunately they can’t even get a job because they can’t afford education. I know that shouldn’t be the US problem but that is not a reason to kill

Not everyone has the luck to succeed in their own country and extreme situation force them to try to cross illegally looking for better opportunities

I read some of the immigration comments with a heavy heart- no matter your political background and views on immigration, we have lost our collective empathy since Trump was elected.

Dont give me that shit! This has been going on for years, the media has finally decided to report it. Obama pledged to secure the boarders and deport illegals before he was elected. Even bill Clinton promised these things yet nothing was done.

This was happening way before Trump. Obama was dubbed deporter in Chief and warehoused thousands of immigrant children. So it's not "since Trump", it's since the inception of white supremacy in the USA
