Wow! With all this progress around the globe, you almost get the sensation that the US is... regressing ... right?

It is for now. But I think the US will find its way after this current administration is left to history. To be optimistic, the younger generation is observing and learning and getting angry. Let’s hope something verdant grows from it. This is a Canadian’s perspective. Peace.

Another European country rejecting fanaticism & religious oppression. Hooray! Bible bangers: you’re free to practice your beliefs but don’t dare oppress us with your uneducated tyranny. Science is clear: a fetus is not a person. A woman IS a person & deserves respect!

No religion should have the power to dictate to women what they can and can't do with their bodies

Can you take back to the USA the religious American crazies that came over here canvassing against women's choice and spending their churches tax free dollars interfering in our referendum.

Sorry that happened. We don’t like them over here in the US either, where they’ve been trying to have abortion made illegal. And they’ve also spread their anti-science religious propaganda in places like Nigeria. It’s sickening.

A woman should have the right to do with her body what she pleases. As with the case that prompted his vote, women shouldn’t be forced to carry a dead fetus in her until it kills her 7 days later. And no religious cult should stop any woman from getting the care she needs.

So if carrying the pregnancy to term means killing the mother then just let her die? Do you realize how that sounds?
